On Thursdays through April and May, Morrell Wine Bar & Café will be offering small pours of great and rare wines. Wine lovers will have a unique chance to taste benchmark wines at the peak of maturity and at a great price.

“We open one bottle around 4PM and pour it until it’s finished,” said Morrell Wine Bar Sommelier, Anna-Christina Dais. “It gives our guests a chance to experience great bottles when they are at their peak. This past Thursday we uncorked the Ornellaia 1998 and it was gone by the time we closed.”

Morrell Wine Bar & Café is located directly on Rockefeller Plaza in Midtown Manhattan, next door to Morrell Wine Store, a leading retailer of wine in New York for over 60 years, owned and run by the Morrell family.

The Wine Bar is open 7 days a week throughout the year. In summer, the Wine Bar’s outdoor cafe provides a relaxing oasis in the heart of Manhattan, while the wintertime offers a ground level view of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.

The Wine Bar offers a sophisticated, adventurous menu, combining American cuisine with Asian accents and fresh flavors in an array of appetizing small plates and entrées.
